Cooking with love: About us
Founded by husband and wife team Maggie and Mazid Khondoker in 1983, our cafe has been a staple in South London for 40 years. Maggie’s Cafe was taken over by their sons Oliver and Anthony Khondoker in 2004. We have has only continued to grow along with the local community and our family ever since.
Maggie’s Cafe, Restaurant and Bar is a pinnacle of South East London life. A name every local knows and every visitor will remember.
Having made a positive impact from day one. Maggie herself has been featured in local exhibitions, articles and events. Most recently in The Migration Museum’s Exhibition Taking Care of Business. Where they remember her and her hospitality. She was also previously featured in the Lewisham Life exhibition.
